Prefab Nocturne
The prefabricated estates of former East Berlin were designed for orderly sleep; the clubs that grew in the city’s emptier buildings, for the opposite. Made on film between the Plattenbau of Prenzlauer Berg and the rooms of Tresor, this journal follows both forms of collective living, and finds them equally quiet by day.
